There is a deep thirst in our soul that only God can quench. It is unquenchable by anything else.

We thirst for the true God. We thirst for the One who made our hearts. We thirst for our Creator, our Saviour, our everything. We thirst to be close to Him.

And until He quenches that thirst, we will only to continue to thirst.

Once you encounter the living God, and experience the Spirit of Jesus and His presence, no longer will you thirst. You will be drinking from the water of life. No longer will you be satisfied with anything lower than Him. All other things in this life becomes blurred like a wet black and white painting on a canvas, and ALL you can see is Him: clear, bright, shining, glorious.

As your eyes of love cut towards Him, He’s powerfully moved by you. He drinks in your love and feasts on your worship. He feels deeply for those who belong to Him. And His feelings are of intense love. Once you become a new creature, baptized with the fire of the Holy Spirit, you will never again thirst for anything less than God Himself. Nothing else can or will ever satisfy! He is it. We receive from Him, and He receives from us. Separation ceased, we become one with our God in sweet everlasting relationship.

Only God can give us exactly what we need perfectly, and oh! How He does it so completely and with master skill.👑💕

“But God–so rich is He in His mercy! Because of and in order to satisfy the great and wonderful and INTENSE love with which He loved us,”
