He Owns the Skies, Yet He Wants me

It sounds too good to be true. However, this is the purest truth that we can know. He is the majestic Creator full of divine splendour and love, full of beauty and grace, full of mercy and compassion. He’s the imminent, omnipresent, omnipotent God who, if we took a glimpse at Him with our naked eye, would be too much our minds to handle. We would go mad if we saw Him for just a fraction of a second.

Thankfully, in Christ, He cleansed us of all unrighteousness and made us holy and blameless in His sight. We’re His saints. His people. And as we are continuously growing and being sanctified here on earth, we will one day be fully in His presence, perfect and full of glory. We will be like Him, equipped to see His glory. In this fallen world, we’re not able to see Him.

But, thanks be to God, we can experience His everlasting full presence, closeness, communion, and relationship. Though we can’t see Him, we can see Him in the way He loves us. We can see Him in everything He made. Look at the skies, in a splendour so great it leaves us in awe. The One who owns the skies wants our hearts, and He will pursue us for our devotion. He will guide us and allure us to Himself, where He will tenderly bring us into oneness with Him. I am so thankful that he allows us to enter into an eternal, loving relationship with Him. He is sky-mazing.

{Hosea 2:14}
“But then I will win her back once again. I will lead her into the desert and speak tenderly to her there.”

{1 John 3:2}
“We know that when He comes and is revealed, we will [as His children] be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is, in all His glory.” Yes, something that sounds too good to be true can indeed be the most piercing truth there is. Piercing like a double-edged sword

{Hebrews 4:12}
“For the word of God is living and active and full of power. It is sharper than any two-edged sword”

We’ll be swept away from this place one day by the most beautiful, loving, enchanting Being in existence.

Song of Songs 2:10
“Arise, my love, my fair one,
And come away.”
